Wow. This place has got it all! The cottage is unbelievably nice. The beds are comfortable. The private beach is deserted. I took the boys fishing for stripers in the kayak, then we dug our own fresh steamers right in front of the house. Our hosts have a boat and invited us to join them while they pulled their lobster pots. It was a great learning experience and tons of fun. Not to mention you have never tasted fresh steamed lobster until you taste some that you caught yourself only minutes before diner. It is really rare when a vacation spots lives up to its promises. The Sea Glass cottage surpasses them. See you next year!

We had the most wonderful week this summer. The sun shined every day but one night. That night there was an amazing thunderstorm out to sea that was better than any lightning storm we have ever seen. The very next morning the sun rose beautifully and we continued on a very nice relaxing vacation. The cottage is a wonderful home away from home. The kids loved the place and I loved the kitchen which has everything you need for a wonderful home cooked meal or a barbecue. We will be back. Truly wonderful place.

My family and I were fortunate enough to be able to stay at the Sea Glass cottage for the last week of August. It was the week with the most phenomenal stretch of weather! Beautiful clear sunny skies by day and cool comfortable nights to sleep. The cottage has a warm, and inviting atmosphere and was impeccably clean. It took us very little time to make ourselves comfortable. The deck offers wonderful views of the sun rising over Cape Cod Bay, one of life's simpler pleasures! My kids had a ball swimming and playing out on the beach. We brought along our boat (made arrangements for parking the trailer close by) and went tubing and swimming out in front of the cottage. On two other days we took rides out along the Cape for some site seeing by water. If a Whale Watch is in the cards, it's a short ride to Plymouth Center to catch a tour boat. We had a wonderful time and talk about our stay often. This was our best family vacation yet! No planes to catch, no rental cars, no schedules to keep etc, just played it day to day and enjoyed the "Life of Leisure" for a week. Thank You again Tom and Ida, we had a Fantastic time!

Thank you for a wonderful vacation spot. The cottage is beautiful with all the comforts of home and some comforts you don’t get to enjoy at home like a fantastic outdoor shower, which l have to admit I could live in. Waking up at home before the sun? Not so good . . Waking up before the sun at the Sea Glass Cottage? Amazing!!! Each morning I grabbed my coffee and sat out on the deck to watch it rise and see the butterflies and humming birds; perfect start to the day and some awesome photographs!! Being able to explore the rocky shore (for hours that felt like minutes), find sea glass treasures, and sandy spot to relax or swim in without working your way around hundreds of people was the cherry on top. The first half of my vacation was spent with one of my besties and her two daughters who had a fabulous time. The girls treated each day as an adventure, finding sea glass, shells, and crabs and even seeing a seal playing out in the water. The second half my “I don’t like the beach” boyfriend arrived. It didn’t take him long to say “I could live here” and “So you want to come back again . .Maybe in September?” after picking myself up off of the floor I said “YES”! Thank you again! You are amazing hosts and you will definitely be seeing us again! PS . .Front door delivery of lobster was an added bonus.

I stayed at Sea-Glass cottage from August 4th to the 11th, 2012. In the interest of full disclosure, I will tell you that I am related to the owner but I wouldn't post anything under my name if I did not mean it. Sea-Glass Cottage is charming. The owners have made an extraordinary effort to fully supply guests' needs (and they are only two cottages away if anything is forgotten). Pierce Park has an old unfashioned beach atmosphere; the group of eight cottages is composed of owners' homes and two rental cottages used by regular visitors. Although it seems to be in an out-of-the-way location, there is full shopping (gas station, Shaw's grocery store, CVS pharmacy, and even a liquor store) about two miles south of the coattage. You will enjoy it.
